Is On-Land Oil Drilling the Way to Prevent Another Deep Water Disaster?

Sarah Palin may be on to something. In a recent Facebook post, she blames the extreme environmentalists for causing the BP Oil Rig disaster by forcing oil companies to drill off shore by heavily regulating on-shore drilling. Mexico Takes Delivery of 3 More Tiger General Swab Rigs

Petro Swab De Mexico took delivery of three more new Swab Master Direct Hydraulic drive swabbing machines. All three are equipped with the new Tiger Vision. This brings the total to six Swab Masters.

Moises De Leon states they invested in three more Swab Master Machines because the are far more efficient than chain drive rigs. Maintenance is about half of chain drive rigs. Moises also stated fuel consumption with the International engines are only about two gallons per hour. That’s far less then the Detroit engines.
